At Bohannan Huston, we are committed to fostering the next generation of engineers by providing an environment where you can learn, grow, and excel in a collaborative and innovative workplace.As an Entry-Level Civil Engineer (EI) in our Las Cruces Transportation and Drainage Engineering Group, you will work alongside industry experts to develop solutions for infrastructure projects.Your Role & Responsibilities In this role, you will contribute to:Permitting & Regulatory Support – Assist with permitting processes and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.Site & Infrastructure Design – Support grading, earthwork, roadway, and utility (water, wastewater, gas) design efforts.Design Drafting & Technical Documentation – Prepare design drawings, maintain project records, and contribute to preliminary engineering reports.GIS & Data Modeling – Develop and maintain GIS databases and perform computer-based engineering analyses.Construction Cost Estimating – Contribute to accurate budgeting and cost estimation for engineering projects.Construction Support – Participate in inspection duties to ensure quality and compliance during construction phases.What We Are Looking For Academic Excellence – You have graduated by May 2026 with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, and have at least a 3.0 GPA, and have shown a commitment to academic focus, leadership and delivering high quality solutions and products.Certification & Experience – You have earned your Engineer Intern (EI) certification or will be able to achieve your EI certification within 12 months of employment.Technical Proficiency – Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu, ESRI ArcMap, and Microsoft Office.Strong Communication Skills – Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats.Problem-Solving Mindset – A self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to innovate.Commitment to Professional Growth – A proactive learner who welcomes feedback and continuously seeks improvement.Technologies You Will Work With & Learn Autodesk Civil 3DBluebeam RevuESRI ArcGIS ProMicrosoft OfficeWhy Choose Bohannan Huston?
