Position : Data Entry Clerk

Location : Covington, GA

Duration : 12 Months

Total Hours/week : 40.00

1st Shift

Client: Medical Device Company

Job Category: Administrative/Clerical

Level of Experience: Entry Level

Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders Only)

1st shift 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday.

Job Description:

  • This position is responsible for the retrieval and control of components and for the daily clerical functions including production tracking and maintenance of production records.
  • Directs the daily activities of production operators.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities including the following. (Other duties may be assigned).

  • Utilizes work orders for kitting operation to complete monthly schedule requirements issued from Bard Access.
  • Responsible for manufacturing startup of runs on the kitting floor. Responsible for movement of released production runs to the finished goods warehouse.
  • Responsible for pulling and sending out component shipments to other facilities.
  • Attends training sessions as directed.
  • Checks in trucks from the location sheets given by the FL drivers.
  • Moves trucks from expecting receipt to received.
  • Closes out workorders.
  • SAP Super User
  • Updates FIFO with what is in progress, kitted, and completed.
  • Adds workorders based on disposition sheet.
  • Changes workorders to HOTs based on attachment from Michael Thorne
  • Runs all the numbers in the morning from each shift from the previous day.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to complete advanced math calculations.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to apply common sense when carrying out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
  • Ability to be a self-starter with the initiative to perform job responsibilities without direct supervision. Accuracy, completeness and attention to detail are essential.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
  • The employee is often required to stand and reach with hands, arms, and lifts and/or moves up to 20 pounds.
  • Employee is required to meet with other personnel in other areas of the building. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment
