Join our Team as an Automation Development Co-Op!

The Role:

We're seeking a motivated Automation Development Co-Op to join our team! This co-op offers hands-on experience in automation development where you'll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into interactions in warehouse research and development. You'll collaborate with the the automation engineering team, as well as mentors and leadership, building skills that will help launch your career!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Working as an entry-level engineer with an assigned mentor.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshooting, determining solutions, and implementing changes to resolve various challenges.
  • Complete forklift training and acquire your forklift license to assist in learning products, testing prototypes, and determining solution activities.
  • Designing new components, sub-systems, and features to meet market requests.
  • Reproduce, determine root cause, and recommend solutions for design issues.
  • Install prototype components in lab environment.
  • Performing engineering analysis using traditional calculations as well as computer aided tools.

What We're Looking For:

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Academic Year: Junior or above
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or Mechatronics.
  • Available for onsite assignment in our Greene, NY from January to May or January to August.
