What You'll Do

As a Lab Accessioner, you'll play a critical role in ensuring DNA testing cases move smoothly from sample receipt through final reporting. Your day may include:

  • Receiving and processing incoming sample packages
  • Reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Entering client information into our laboratory systems
  • Tracking the progress of cases from start to finish
  • Preparing reports and case-related documents
  • Scanning and filing paperwork
  • Maintaining confidential information and compliance requirements
  • Meeting quality and productivity goals in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications

Previous laboratory experience is not required. We will train the right candidate.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
  • Manual dexterity to handle, label, and file samples and paperwork.
  • Standing, walking, stooping, and kneeling to accomplish tasks and transport samples from accessioning area to laboratory.
