As an Entry-Level Service Technician at Terex, based in Long Island, NY, you will play a pivotal rolein growing and expanding our service support across the US to continue to help serve ourcommunities by listening, responding, and delivering solutions. Our service function is key to ourbusiness success, and we are looking to add skilled team members as we expand our servicenetwork. We continually invest in our team members by providing ongoing technical training todevelop your skills and grow our business.

What you'll do
Strictly follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe work environment foryourself and others
Develop your new skills to take your career to the next level
Count on a dedicated support team committed to your safety and success
Work on a variety of different equipment (Truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment and/or aerialwork platforms preferred)
Work as part of a team in an expanding and growing environment
Count on a consistent schedule each week, with opportunities for overtime

What you'll bring
Must be able to successfully pass MVR
Must be able to obtain an active DOT qualification
Must live within 20 miles of Long Island, NY
Experience, educational background and/or desire to learn mechanics, electronics, or hydraulicsystems is preferred
Basic computer and shop math skills
Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings and work orders
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based, safety focused workplace
Ability to travel overnight within the assigned region
Some trade school or equivalent training
Strong reliability, initiative and a positive attitude
Willingness and eagerness to meet and exceed deadlines and goals while learning and growingin a fast past, team-focused environment
Own basic, job-related tools
Must be willing to work varied hours and be on the road up to three to four nights per week
Able to work comfortably in tight spaces and at heights, climb ladders, access vehicles fromvarious positions, lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs., and perform duties in diverse weatherconditions
