Location : Sparks, MD

Duration : 12 Months

Total Hours/week : 40.00

1st Shift

Client: Medical Device Company

Level Of Experience: Entry Level or Mid-Level

Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Or OPT EAD Or CPT)

Work hours: M - F 8am - 5pm

Job Description:

  • The Documentation specialist is responsible for clerical duties related to the maintenance and updating of technical documentation.
  • Administers the updating of procedures based on redline changes provided by team members and administers the routing and approval of these changes in the electronic document management system.
  • Completes tracking, logging, updating and version control of technical documents according to business standards.
  • Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer with intermediate level of keyboarding skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • 1 year of job-related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Familiarity with SAP preferred.
  • Familiarity with technical wording and documentation.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve practical job-related problems or recognize the need to ask supervisor for assistance.
  • Required to sit, communicate, listen, stand, bend, reach with hands, lift or move up to 25lbs (archive record boxes).
  • Vision requirements include ability to see and interact with a computer.
  • This position works in a normal office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.
