Job description

A local logistics company that specializes in corporate office moves is seeking Computer Relocation Technicians for a short-term project. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work with computer hardware and have a flexible, service-oriented mindset.
In this role, you’ll be supporting a project at a client site in Dallas TX, assisting with the setup of employee workstations. Responsibilities include setting up computers and keyboards, routing cables neatly, and documenting workstation layouts and inventory used during the setup.
This is an excellent opportunity to build your resume with entry-level hardware technician skills and grow with a diverse and supportive team that is constantly expanding their footprint nationally!
 
Computer Relocation Technician Job Duties:
  • Receiving, unboxing, and testing IT equipment including laptops, monitors, and PCs
  • Cleaning and formatting used laptops, preparing outbound shipments of laptops
  • Moving office equipment, disconnecting and connecting computer hardware
  • Creating diagrams of each computer station, taking before and after photos of inventory
  • Routing wires neatly to maximize ease of use
Computer Relocation Technician Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with computer hardware (profession or hobby)
  • Open availability to work varying shifts
  • Customer-service attitude
  • Reliable transportation for late night shifts
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs, standing for up to 10 hours
