PROtect, LLC is hiring Environmental Monitoring & Mitigation (EMM) Apprentices in Mont Belviue, TX to begin a hands-on career in the oil and gas / environmental compliance industry. This is an entry-level, paid apprenticeship with on-the-job training focused on Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR), emissions monitoring, and EPA compliance.
You'll work onsite at industrial facilities alongside experienced technicians, using portable analyzers to identify and reduce VOC and HAP emissions in accordance with EPA Method 21.

Position Overview
  • The EMM Apprentice reports to an LDAR Manager and works closely with site leadership to ensure environmental compliance and customer satisfaction. You'll be responsible for monitoring equipment routes, calibrating analyzers, identifying leaks, and documenting emissions data.

  • Communicate findings with site and plant personnel
  • Follow all safety policies and report incidents or near-misses
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required:
  • At least 18 years old

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)

Preferred (Not Required):
  • Experience in oil & gas, chemical plants, or refineries
  • Familiarity with handheld/PDA data collection devices
  • Mechanical aptitude or hands-on work experience
