Job Summary

This entry level position is ideal for college graduates or people with 0–2 years experience and for a person who is interested in gaining experience in IT systems. Great opportunity for professional development and career growth. This position is responsible to design, develop, test, and deploy software components and integrations for the company using Python, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and OCI DevOps, along with REST APIs and GraphQL for third-party system integrations.


Must be authorized to work in US without sponsorship. This position does not allow telecommuting.


Responsibilities

  • Produce defect free software using the latest technology, standards, and best practices.
  • Apply generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation.
  • Provide adequate unit and system level testing of the features and bug fixes. Communicate tests that should be run once the system is deployed to the production environment.
  • Participate in meetings with business owners to discuss requirements for new projects. Actively participate in requirements gathering sessions.
  • Perform code reviews
  • Provide support during quality assurance to ensure that the functionality is working as expected
  • Develop and consume REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints to integrate with third-party systems.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field
  • 3.2 GPA and above
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming is required
  • Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database, including writing SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and/or OCI DevOps is a plus
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and GraphQL for third-party system integrations is desired
  • Highly analytical and structured thinking, with the innate curiosity and creativity to develop innovative and unorthodox solutions to problems
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
