Job Title: Post Market Surveillance Lab Analyst
Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and analytical Post Market Surveillance Lab Analyst to perform evaluations on returned devices associated with reported complaints. This role requires a balance of hands-on analysis in a biohazardous lab and technical report writing. The analyst will work collaboratively with various departments to coordinate product testing and ensure accurate documentation and communication of findings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and analysis on returned devices using procedures, judgment, and experience.
  • Document and determine root cause evaluations accurately.
  • Review Device History Records and coordinate product testing with internal departments and external consultants.
  • Prepare technical reports of evaluations and manage the product experience file.
  • Receive and manage complaints from customers, asking pertinent questions and submitting evaluation findings.
  • Triages new product experience report files and investigates events in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate entry of product experiences in the database.
  • Record the condition of returned products, including observations and photographs.
  • Interpret technical product specifications and Device History Records.
  • Communicate effectively internally and externally regarding product experiences.
  • Assess if a medical device report needs to be filed with global regulatory agencies.
  • Support inspections by regulatory agencies and provide support to the Legal Department regarding product complaints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups and coordinate product testing/analysis.
  • Support the Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelors Degree in a science-related field (biology, biochemistry, neuroscience, etc.).
  • 0-2 years of experience within a lab or medical space.
  • Technical writing experience.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong customer service skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 1+ years of working experience post-college (technical preferred).
  • Experience with root cause analysis/failure analysis.
  • 3+ months lab experience and/or anatomy/physiology experience.
  • Lab experience, TA experience, or research experience from college preferred.
Work Environment

The work environment is a team setting with 50% of the time spent in a lab and 50% at a desk (laptop with a dual screen). The role supports the Electrophysiology business unit and involves working in various conditions from well-lit offices to research labs. Tasks require significant use of a computer and other office equipment, good correctable vision, and hand/eye coordination. Training will take approximately 2-3 months depending on the individual.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
