Move Forward with Volt!
Volt is immediately hiring entry level 1st shift and 2nd shift Test Operators in Fremont, CA.
As an entry level Test Operator, you will:
  • Pick up servers from assembly line and roll them down to testing areas to test (walking up to 10,000 steps a day)
  • Move server panels from assembly table to a server rack
  • Use tray table/Lift mechanism to load server into the rack
  • Conduct quality tests on servers / racks and monitors
  • Monitor test progress during testing cycle
  • Test failed servers
  • Check out test passed server racks and move to hi-pot station and back to storage area
  • Issue reports in failure issues, re-tests
  • Repeat failure /issues, send to debug

These are full-time - temp to hire positions.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
1st shift - 8am - 5pm plus overtime
2nd shift 4pm - 1:30am plus overtime
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Must have strong computer skills - will be documenting in Excel
  • Be able to walk up to 10,000 steps per day
  • Linux experience preferred but not required
  • Be able to pass pre-employment screening once offer is made (background and drug test)

Pay Rate: $21.50 - $23.50 per hour - depending on shift
