Job description

Essex Industries is a multi-site aerospace and defense manufacturer serving military and commercial customers worldwide. The Systems Program Analyst role analyzes and resolves system issues, implements cost-effective solutions, and supports daily information systems operations while collaborating with users and enhancing systems to support decision-making.
Essential Duties:
  • Works closely with supervision or project lead.
  • Light ERP system administration, including new users, security, menus, training access, etc.
  • Monitor and helpdesk tickets to appropriate personnel.
  • Perform simple software maintenance tasks on supported systems and applications.
  • Testing and debugging of systems or software to eliminate errors.
  • Maintain and meet schedule deadline dates.
  • Act as a liaison between IS and user departments to foster and develop participation and cooperation.
  • Makes improvement suggestions for department processes and procedures.
  • Identifies and escalates issues.
  • Review and/or contribute to departmental process documentation.
  • Reads manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to stay current in industry.
  • Creates implementation support documents.
  • Works effectively with outside consultants as part of an ERP implementation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, related software engineering/IT, or suitable degree with IT/ERP experience. Entry level to 0-2 year of related experience and/or training in application development, basic SaaS ERP system administration; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
