Job description

Job Description:

Duties: Compute, analyze, and interpret complex and disparate data to produce relevant and consumable data reports and dashboards. Use marketing forecasts and process capacity models to predict required investments for new product ramps and to support business growth plans. Understand and model the manufacturing process for FormFactor's MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) probe cards, probe cards used for logic devices, suitable for flip chips for microprocessors and SoC devices, and the fine pitch bump wafer test. Collect data about customer needs and validate growth business plans and estimate return on investments. Analyze customer-related data and ensure that projected investments improve gross margin and profit. Document operational procedures and manage implementation of capacity ramps and monitor gross margin impacts as projects progress.

Education Required:Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

Experience Required:2 years of experience as a Lean Specialist, Industrial Engineer, or related occupation

Special Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:

1. Using Lean manufacturing techniques including Value stream mapping and Pareto analysis to identify and address bottlenecks in supply chain.

2. Using MS Excel power query, pivot tables, and macros to collect data, validate growth business plans, and estimate investment returns.

3. Using Power BI functions including DAX query view and model view to link databases and creating dashboards to track KPIs.

4. Building SQL queries to link WIP and Inventory data to support the MRP.

5. Using the ERP software including Oracle or SAP to analyze part consumption for SIOP planning.

6. Using Six sigma methodology and tools including DMAIC, PFMEA, KAIZEN, and Fishbone diagrams to perform root-cause analysis and investigate inventory discrepancies.
