Job description

Title: Software Engineer I
Location: Orlando FL
Pay Rate: $18/HR
• The Team is specific to Orlando FL Facility (333 S. Garland Ave, Orlando, FL 32801)
• This team is nearly 100% Remote but an onsite team meeting may be required rarely.
• Candidates must be local to the Orlando area or be withing a 30 mile radius to the Orlando Facility Address.
• Entry Level Role, on par with an Internship level role. No prior professional experience is required or expected.
• Candidates must have completed HS / GED and ideally (per manager) are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science/Data Science or equivalent field.
• Manager willing to consider candidates who recently completed their BA / MA in a Technology related Degree but as this is on-par with an internship role the ideal would be candidates currently in pursuit of their BA or MA.
• Role is Part Time, 20 hours per week.
• No set schedule as Leadership will be as flexible as possible incase chosen candidate is a College student with weekly classes.
Job Description:
• Build and operate the infrastructure that enables observability of critical assets across the organization. Client foundational components and expand the team's AI and ML capabilities.
• Learn and apply industry best practices and modern development and operations techniques such as CI/CD, IaC, DevOps, containerization, cloud and serverless architecture
• Submit quality contributions to various code, configuration, and knowledge bases and review the contributions of others.
• Participate in team practices such as: planning, retrospectives, peer review, working sessions, POCs, etc
• Enable data driven and proactive decisions through:
• Collaborating with other teams to understand their systems.
• Collecting and analyzing logs, metrics, and traces from a wide range of infrastructure, applications, networks, and other sources.
• Deriving insights from data by creating alerts, reports, and visualizations that are interactive and clear.
• Apply debugging and troubleshooting skills to determine the root causes of issues in systems and resolve them.
