Job description

Description
  • Review and analyze merchandising, item, supplier, and warehouse data to ensure accurate conversion and alignment with business requirements.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation scripts to identify data discrepancies, mapping issues, and configuration errors.
  • Validate item assortment, pricing, vendor relationships, warehouse servicing assignments, and category data across impacted systems.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, supply chain, business, and project teams to understand transition requirements and support issue resolution.
  • Perform data validation and integrity checks to ensure accurate data movement between source and target systems.
  • Document, track, and prioritize defects, working closely with project leads and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Monitor transition readiness by performing pre- and post-conversion audits to identify potential risks and ensure operational continuity.
  • Create and maintain detailed testing documentation, validation reports, and project status updates.
  • Assist with root cause analysis of data and system issues that may impact merchandising operations, inventory flow, or store execution.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role, preferably in a store or retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of database management, data integration, and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using excel and power BI for data validation.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
