Description:
We are seeking a motivated Research Engineer to support research and testing activities for agricultural applications. This role is primarily focused on managing laboratory operations, conducting experiments, operating and maintaining research equipment, and collecting high-quality data. This position offers an opportunity to support innovative agricultural research through hands-on laboratory, testing, and equipment operations in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
* Assessment of hardware and software of laboratory instrumentation and systems.
* Design and execute experiments to analyze research and production data.
* Maintain instruments
* Collect, record, and organize research data using laboratory instruments and computer systems.
* Analyze and summarize experimental data and prepare reports, charts, and presentations to communicate findings.
* Provide technical support to scientists and engineers.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree with a few years of experience in an engineering related to
( electrical, mechanical, robotics, system engineering)
* Basic engineering and programming language such as Python, C#, or C++.
* Ability to work full-time on-site at St. Louis, Missouri research facilities.
* Experience supporting agricultural research, laboratory operations, or scientific experiments.
* Experience with engineering equipment, instrumentation, automation systems, or lab test equipment.
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary research or engineering environment.
