Position Summary:
The Program Manager will report to the Occupational Therapy Program Director and support the graduate OT program in the Katz College of Science and Health.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Utilize EXXAT to manage and monitor a variety of confidential clinical documents
  • Provide daily monitoring to ensure compliance with ACOTE-OT accreditation standards
  • Create and maintain a variety of confidential and sensitive data, such as academic student records, faculty files, and teaching evaluations
  • Maintain program accreditation documentation in compliance with ACOTE-OT standards
  • Collect and maintain clinical supervisor/preceptor documentation, including licensure, supervision certificates, identification, etc., in compliance with ACOTE-OT standards
  • Assist with the organization and management of clinical site affiliation agreements in EXXAT
  • Serve as the main point of contact for incoming and continuing OT graduate students
  • Assist with evaluating and updating the program and clinical handbooks
  • Assist with student course registration and monitor progress towards degree completion, and serve as liaison to all university offices
  • Support planning and execution of the health science clinical events, such as Interprofessional educational (IPE) activities, student clinical training seminars, and clinical continuing education events (CEU)
  • Additionally, assist with orientation, graduation, and white coat events
  • Collaborate with the program director on semester schedules
  • Participate in student recruitment and retention initiatives
  • Assist the department with the management of purchasing requests, classroom requests, conference travel, and faculty reimbursements
  • Prepare and disseminate relevant reports each semester
  • Collaborate and communicate with other health science programs, including Physician Assistant Studies, Nursing, Speech Language Pathology, and others as needed
  • Participate in ACOTE-OT accreditation site visits
  • Some evening hours will be required, as well as participation in on-campus department and school-wide events
  • Complete other duties and tasks as assigned

Experience & Educational Background:
  • Baccalaureate degree required, Health Science Baccalaureate degree or Master's degree preferred
  • Experience utilizing EXXAT software preferred
  • Prior experience in a Health Science graduate program preferred
