What You'll Be Doing

May include, but not limited to:

  • Warmly answering phone calls within 3 rings and responding to emails within an hour within high volume times

  • Making and modifying reservations

  • Setting up billing on reservations (Individual pay own, master bill and direct bills)

  • Delivering outstanding customer service to guests, both internal and external

  • Answering inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and outlets

  • Following all hotel procedures including but not limited to: PCI compliance and guest privacy

  • Supporting other units, such as sales and catering department

  • Solve problems and or suggest alternatives to situations that arise

  • Review reports and understand daily responsibilities

  • Be able to see big picture and make business decisions

  • Assisting with other tasks that assigned


What You Need For This Position
  • Entry-level experience with low to medium technical knowledge

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong multitasking, time management, and prioritization skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive, professional guest interaction and rapport-building skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and comprehension skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to suggest improvements

  • Computer proficiency with strong typing skills; Excel and Word preferred

  • Experience with Opera or other Rooms Management Systems a plus

  • General knowledge of local attractions and surrounding areas

  • Ability to maintain an organized, clean workspace
