Key Responsibilities:
  • Support software development, research, and prototyping efforts related to artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and data analytics.
  • Assist with the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Python-based applications, utilities, and analytical tools.
  • Develop and enhance automated techniques for evaluating, processing, and analyzing structured and unstructured data.

  • Participate in the collection, analysis, and validation of engineering and technical data to support ongoing research and development activities.
  • Develop and execute test cases to evaluate software functionality, performance, and accuracy.

  • Document software designs, algorithms, workflows, and technical findings.
  • Support Agile development activities, team collaboration, and code management using source control tools and development best practices.
  • Perform additional technical duties as assigned in support of digital engineering, software development, and research initiatives.

Work Environment:
  • Location: On-Site
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
  • Working Hours: Flexible, Part Time- 20 hours

Qualifications Required:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and remain enrolled throughout the period of employment.
  • Experience developing software applications using Python or other modern programming languages.
  • Knowledge of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze technical problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience working in collaborative team environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required customer or company access approvals.

Qualifications Desired:
  • Experience developing or consuming RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, or other service-based architectures.
  • Experience using source control systems such as Git and GitHub.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Exposure to systems engineering, requirements analysis, model-based systems engineering, or digital engineering concepts.
  • Previous internship, research, or project experience supporting software development or technical engineering efforts.
