Lovell Academy is seeking a Science Teacher to support student learning in core science subjects. This position focuses on teaching high school science courses such as biology and chemistry to student-athletes. The ideal candidate is a reliable, collaborative educator who is interested in working with adolescents and creating a structured, engaging classroom environment.


Lovell Academy, located in Rockland, MA, is a boarding school serving 132 elite hockey student-athletes in grades 8–PG. The school integrates academics and athletics to support each student’s development. Faculty are expected to create classrooms that support scientific thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on learning.

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teach assigned science courses (e.g., biology, chemistry)
  • Support student learning through clear instruction and structured lessons
  • Plan and deliver lessons aligned with course objectives and assessments
