RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policy
  • Comfortable working with all makes and models
  • Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that they can recommend additional services needed
  • Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
  • Emission/ Virginia State Inspector preferred
  • Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Fast leaner
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player
  • Computer literate 
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Valid drivers license
