Riverside Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Computer Repair Technician. If you like working in a fast-paced environment and have great customer service skills, we welcome your application!


Job Summary:

As a Computer Repair Technician, you will be providing onsite hardware and networking support. In this role, you’ll perform installs, moves, adds, and changes. You’ll also provide technical assistance and support for computer systems and hardware. Plus, you’ll be responsible for follow-up services and problem escalation.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing onsite support to our customers, including hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops, and servers
  • Maintaining a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor, and dress
  • Performing installs, moves, adds, and changes as required as well as testing and inspecting units for quality
  • Communicating accurately, concisely, and professionally with the customer about important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion
  • Providing technical assistance and support for incoming issues related to computer systems and hardware
  • Responding to email messages for customers seeking assistance
  • Maintaining daily performance of computer systems and running diagnostic programs to identify problems with computer systems
  • Installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software
  • Prioritizing and reviewing work orders to schedule daily work
  • Developing a working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures
  • Performing inventory management
  • Performing other related duties as assigned


Requirements:

What You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • A+, Cisco, and HP certifications highly desired
  • Ability to travel when required
  • 1 year in field service support role supporting a variety of hardware and networking equipment preferred
  • Sense of urgency
  • Must be available for varying shifts depending on customers’ needs
  • Regular reliable attendance
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a professional presence
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team
  • Must have ability to move equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Must have exceptional driving record and have a valid driver’s license (part of the responsibilities will be to drive a company vehicle for deliveries)
  • Must be able to climb ladders
  • Must be comfortable working at heights of 3-40 ft.
  • Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
