Job Description
  • Responsible for managing all chemicals for the plating floor
  • Manages chemical levels in all day tanks and make adds as needed
  • Responsible for Chemical movement and Handling
  • Manages inventory levels and works with procurement to maintain appropriate quantity on hand
  • Manages chemicals for new process integration
  • Provides support to the lab for chemical analysis - Titration, ICP, and UV Vis
  • Responsible for chemical disposable for any expired or non used chemicals
  • Handles the process of signing hazardous waste manifest
  • Will be cross trained as a lab technician to support process analysis
  • Operate a fork lift to do the following:
    • Put the pallets away
    • Take the pallets off the storage racks
    • Remove the drum from the pallet and put it on the rolling transfer dolly
Education / Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Excellent communication and team work skills.
  •  Basic Computer Literacy
  • Ability to be on your feet all day
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 40 lbs
  • Must be capable of passing fork lift certification - training will be provided
  • Must be capable of using appropriate PPE for chemical handling, filling and chemical spill response

Conditions of Employment:

 

In this role you will be required to become certified in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

In this role you will be required to become certified in the use of a Fork Lift

Training Provided in the Following Areas:

  • OSHA 24 hour HAZWOPER certification
  • Use of forklifts and powered pallet lift
  • Chemical storage by type classification of material
Compensation Data

Salary Range:

$22 - $25/hour - This is the entry level salary

Candidates with more experience will be compensated based upon their level of experience

Please note: This range is based on our current market driven pay structures. Individual salaries are determined based upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, a candidates overall qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience as well as company internal equity.
