Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Maintenance Training Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and office support for the Maintenance Training Department. The position carries out a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to: communicating via phone and email ensuring that all administrative assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the filing and processing of paperwork and records.
  • Scan and maintain all PSA Maintenance personnel electronic training records.
  • Process and maintain all vendor maintenance personnel electronic training records.
  • Support Training Coordinators with class.
  • Maintain supplies levels for training department across all bases.
  • Track and manage manual compliance.
  • Check training records for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance personnel for corrections to training records.
  • Compile and deliver reports, maintain databases in Excel and maintain files.
  • Compose, type, and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other material as assigned.
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in an office environment
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Programs, with emphasis on Excel
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English.
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.

Preferred
  • Previous aviation experience

Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Assistant Director of Maintenance Training.
Authorities: None
Supervisory Responsibility: This is not a supervisory position.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
