Job description

Advantest is a global leader in automatic test equipment for the semiconductor industry. Our V93000 platform is used to test the world's most advanced semiconductor devices.
To meet the ever-increasing testing requirements of modern integrated circuits, we are continuously expanding our platform to support new hardware modules. To strengthen our development team, we are looking for a Hardware Project Manager for the Power System and Cooling area.
The new team will be responsible for the design, development, and characterization of new system elements, as well as the execution and evaluation of qualification tests at our Boblingen location. You will work independently in an agile work environment with flat hierarchies.

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
Experience in the areas of multi-KW power supply HW and Thermal management of high-power electronic equipment
Strong team working and problem-solving skills, superior communication skills (cross-functional, internal/external, cross-cultural) across hierarchy levels
Strong coordination skills, ability to lead and influence x-functional teams
Strong self-management, ability to set proper priorities
Fluent in German and English language
Furthermore, ideal qualifications:
Knowledge and experience of Manufacturing processes for Power electronics and mechanics
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, MS-Project,...).
Experience with CAD Tools for simulation, schematic entry, and mechanical construction
