Job description


Concreteworks East, a premier manufacturer of custom architectural concrete products, is seeking a CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, work with the nation's leading architects and contractors, and make a significant impact on our projects.
The CAD Drafter will work closely with Project Management to draft and publish project-specific shop drawings. Using the contract proposal and architectural drawings, the CAD Drafter will identify the scope of the shop drawings. The candidate will work in a collaborative environment across various departments to review and refine drawing details.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and publish project-specific shop drawings.
Identify the scope of the shop drawings using the contract proposal and architectural drawings.
Collaborate with various departments to review and refine drawing details.
Work closely with the Project Manager and the client, frequently communicating any Request for Information (RFI) or other details needed to accurately assemble the shop drawings.
Revise and resubmit drawings based on client red lines.
Communicate with the client to ensure all details are understood and accurately represented in the drawings.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or similar.
Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
1+ years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
Must be proficient in reading architectural drawing sets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
