Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for a civil engineer to join our Civil Engineering Group in our Denver, Colorado office. This engineer will work for multiple project managers on a broad range of project types. The position would offer the opportunity to work on varied types of projects, including municipal, utility healthcare, affordable housing, educational facilities, housing developments, and much more.

The Team
Our civil engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, including leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver.
Examples Of Responsibilities:
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed engineer to accomplish structural/civil design calculations and tasks.
  • Produce high-quality project documentation using computer design and graphics software programs.
  • Actively participate in personal professional development through learning code requirements, asking lots of questions, completing reference research, and attending technical training seminars.
  • Assist Project Manager in construction administration tasks such as shop drawing review, performing field observations, and responding to Requests for Information.
  • Collaboratively engage with other Martin/Martin staff to provide exceptional engineering solutions for our clients.

Requirements
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum
  • Has passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to work in the Denver area. Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function.

This position is primarily technical in nature and requires working inside and outside the office to complete a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required:

Compensation
The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
  • Base Salary: For individuals hired in Colorado, a reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $70,000 to $77,000 annually.
  • Accrued Time: This is a salaried position with accrued time eligibility. Accrued time allows additional compensation or time-off to be earned for any eligible hours worked exceeding 40 hours per week.
  • Base Salary Review: This role is eligible to participate in Martin/Martin's annual base salary increase review process.
  • Annual Bonus: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary annual bonus program.

Base salary review and increases, in addition to annual bonuses, are dependent on various factors, including a hired individual's job-level and annual company performance.
