Job Description

Position Summary

An entry level position responsible for assembly and testing Hydraforce valves by various methods. Ensure final products meet HydraForce, customer quality and performance standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Process parts or valves according to Test Control Plan/PCP

Set up computer depending on the TCP with assistance from the lead

Fill assembly orders from start to finish according to company quality standards

Set up test machine with assistance

Receive and verify parts for assembly process according to order

Fill out daily or weekly worksheet as required by department

Separate passed and failed valves/parts

Prepare parts for next production step

Work with other team members and leaders to problem solve

Maintain a clean work environment

Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations

Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed

Performs other duties as assigned by manager

Can Assemble and Test within one given area or product line

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

School diploma or equivalent

Some manufacturing experience a plus

Intermediate computer skills

Knowledge of hand tools including air machine, wrench, and expander gun

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English

Must be able to meet quality and productivity standards

Ability to stay on task for long periods of time

Ability to multitask

Good English written and communication skills

Attendance and punctuality

Ability to partner with another team member to complete tasks

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

Standing for long periods of time and repetitive lifting

Majority of the work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high
