Skyline Windows is a fourth-generation family owned and operated business. We are best known for designing, manufacturing, and installing custom windows, window wall systems, and terrace doors. All our products are made to order based on our clients’ project specifications. From landmarks to new construction, high end residential to high volume commercial, we do it all!

Position Summary:

The Junior Engineer supports the Engineering Department in developing technical drawings, coordinating with internal teams, and assisting in the preparation of shop drawings and fabrication details. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with 0–2 years of experience who are eager to learn window systems, construction processes, and Skyline standards. The role involves hands-on training, close mentorship, and exposure to engineering workflows.

Essential Functions:

  • Interpret architectural details and drawings.
  • Assist in the preparation and revision of AutoCAD drawings.
  • Support senior engineers in shop drawing development.
  • Perform basic field measurements and documentation.
  • Create hand sketches and markups under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate project data and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with Engineering, Project Management, and Sales teams.
  • Participate in training and apply learned standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong AutoCAD fundamentals.
  • Basic understanding of architectural and shop drawings.
