Position Overview Â
As a Blade Repair Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting wind energy operations across multiple sites and projects - with a specialized focus on composite blade repairs. Your composite experience, along with your electrical and mechanical skills, will bring added versatility to every team you join. Whether assisting with service work or construction efforts, you'll bring your skills and adaptability to where they're needed most. Backed by Vestas training and qualifications, you'll help keep projects on track and teams equipped-delivering clean, reliable energy to communities everywhere. Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Perform skilled-level blade composite maintenance as part of turbine upkeep and repair. Â
Diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbines with your team.Â
Travel to different sites, work with diverse teams, and engage with varied experiences, including travel management and cost coding.Â
Conduct safety inspections and ensure a secure working environment.Â
Address advanced problem-solving tasks with effective self-management.Â
Work on construction and installation projects, overseeing the full life cycle of turbines.Â
This role offers exposure to a wide range of turbine platforms, site conditions, and team environments-ideal for technicians who thrive on variety and continuous learning.Â
Who You Are Â
At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate, or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields. Â
Highly developed problem-solving abilities and an engaged approach to responsibilities. Â
Safety-conscious and committed to best practices. Â
Able to work well with others and enjoy collaborative environments. Â
Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions, and at heights. Â
Ability to speak, read and follow instructions in English. Â
You have a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver's license, and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.Â

Ability to successfully participate in all training courses, including controlled decent practical exercises.Â
Due to design parameters of fall protection equipment, the combined weight of prospective employee, required PPE and gear shall not exceed 300 lbs. Required PPE and gear may weigh up to 40 lbs.Â
