Job description

Automotive BDC (Business Development Center) Receptionist - Full Time

DePaula Chevrolet is looking for a Receptionist for our Business Development Center.  This receptionist is the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the dealership's sales and service department.  This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with strong communication and organizational skills who are looking to begin a career in the automotive industry with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls to the appropriate departments or team members.
  • Schedule and confirm sales and service appointments.
  • Make outbound calls to customers for appointment reminders, retention campaigns, follow-up , and customer satisfaction.
  • Take accurate messages and ensure timely delivery to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain customer information and appointment records in dealership management system(DMS).
  • Provide basic information regarding dealership products, services, and hours of operation.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, dependable and team-oriented.
  • Previous customer service or receptionist experience is helpful but not required.
