Job description

CNC Machinist (2nd Shift + Shift Differential) – Direct Hire
Marion, NY (25 min from Rochester)
$24.50 – $35.00/hr (includes shift differential, based on experience)
 Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week (Mon–Thurs)

Schedule
  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
  • Training: 4–6 weeks on 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)


What You’ll Do
  • Operate CNC lathes and/or mills to produce precision PTFE components
  • Read and interpret blueprints and part drawings
  • Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers)
  • Make offsets, tooling adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
  • Assist with setups (or perform setups based on experience)
  • Complete production documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace (5S standards)

We are open to multiple experience levels:
Option 1 – CNC Operator (Entry-Level)
  • 1+ year CNC or manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read basic prints and use measuring tools
Option 2 – CNC Machinist (Mid-Level)
  • 2–5+ years CNC machining experience
  • Setup experience and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills


Additional Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Willingness to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift


Nice to Have (Not Required)
  • Associate degree in Machining or related field
  • Experience with tight tolerances or plastics (PTFE)
