Job description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Machinist with 1โ€“3 years of experience or recent completion of an in-person machining trade school program. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in CNC machining while contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position focuses on fundamental machine operation, maintenance, and consistency in part production.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload workpieces safely and efficiently
  • Perform basic CNC program loading and machine operation under supervision
  • Maintain proper coolant levels and monitor fluid condition
  • Manage chip bins, including emptying and disposal in accordance with procedures
  • Keep machine tables and work areas clean and free of debris
  • Perform routine machine upkeep, including use of air, oiling, and general maintenance tasks
  • Follow setup sheets, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
  • Inspect parts for basic quality requirements and report issues as needed
  • Support senior machinists and supervisors with daily production needs
Qualifications:

  • 1โ€“3 years of machining experience OR recent graduate of an in-person machining trade school program
  • Basic understanding of CNC machine operation and shop practices
