Location: Madison Heights, MI Shift: 2nd Pay: Up to $15/hr

Job Summary

Are you looking to work somewhere that wants you for the long haul and gives you the opportunity to grow while building your skills and knowledge? We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator in Madison Heights, MI to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with machine operating experience who is looking to expand their manufacturing and CNC knowledge. Employees will be considered for hire-in after their time with Workbox Staffing.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a CNC Machine Operator, your core responsibilities will include:

• Operate CNC and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload materials while maintaining production standards
• Read and follow blueprints and written work instructions
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and product quality
• Inspect completed parts for accuracy and defects
• Monitor machine performance and report issues as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support production goals and quality requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:
• Basic machine operation experience and/or prior CNC experience required
• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and write in English

Skills:
• Ability to read measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and gauges
• Ability to understand blueprints and written work instructions
• Basic understanding of computer programs
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
