Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to residents, including delivering meals, assisting with ambulation and hygiene, and ensuring adequate fluid and nutritional intake throughout the scheduled shift.

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom.

  • Monitor residents' health and report any concerns or changes to the supervising nurse.

  • Document residents' food and fluid intake, as well as any notable observations or incidents.

  • Assist with feeding and serving nutritional supplements, and ensure residents' living areas are clean and tidy.

  • Transport residents within the facility and assist with other tasks as needed.

  • Collaborate with nurses and other staff members to provide comprehensive care and support.

  • Adhere to professional standards, facility policies, and federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Maintain confidentiality and respect for residents' privacy and personal information.
