Solutions Application Specialist (SAS)
Position Summary
The Solutions Application Specialist (SAS) is responsible for the successful implementation, validation, customer training, and application support of Siemens Healthineers diagnostic instrumentation and data management solutions. (Atellica portfolio) Serving as the applications lead for assigned projects, the SAS ensures successful customer adoption, operational readiness, and a positive installation experience while maintaining compliance with Siemens Healthineers quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer implementations, system validations, upgrades, and go-live activities for Siemens Healthineers diagnostic solutions.
- Coordinate installation activities with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Deliver Train-the-Trainer and end-user education on instrument operation, quality control, assay performance, and workflow optimization.
- Provide technical application support, troubleshoot customer issues, and participate in escalations as required.
- Drive implementation excellence through effective customer engagement, project coordination, and technical governance.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, identify potential risks, and communicate concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
- Support assay validation activities and statistical analysis associated with new test implementation.
- Mentor and assist other Solutions Application Specialists and provide support across regions and territories as business needs require.
- Maintain compliance with Siemens Healthineers Quality System requirements, company policies, FDA regulations, OSHA requirements, and all safety standards.
- Accurately document activities and utilize company communication and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or MT(AMT) certification preferred.
- Minimum of two years of clinical laboratory experience; field applications experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in assay validation, method verification, and statistical analysis related to laboratory test implementation.
- Working knowledge of Chemistry, Immunochemistry, Hematology, and Coagulation testing.
- Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and training skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel more than 90% of the time, including frequent overnight travel.
- Willingness to support customers and projects nationwide as business needs require.
- Must live in one following states: CO. CA. WA. UT, OR -West

The base pay range for this position is:
$74,350 - $102,234Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
