Job Description – Assembler / Entry-Level Production Associate

AssemblerKey Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic products according to specifications.
- Build sub-assemblies and finished products using hand tools and power tools.
- Install components, wiring, and hardware as required.
- Read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, blueprints, and production documentation.
- Perform product testing and basic quality inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Use measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measures, gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor assembly issues during production.
- Support continuous production operations and meet daily production goals.
- Identify and report quality concerns, material shortages, and equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure efficient workflow.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a hands-on industrial environment, including:
- Manufacturing
- Mechanical Assembly
- Automotive Repair
- Construction
- Warehouse Assembly Operations
- Other related mechanical or industrial fields
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or assembly drawings.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with wiring, soldering, or electronic assembly.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing facility.
- Knowledge of quality inspection procedures.
Entry-Level Production AssociateKey Responsibilities
- Support daily production and assembly operations.
- Follow detailed step-by-step work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Load, feed, and position materials into production equipment.
- Assist with product assembly and packaging processes.
- Conduct basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Maintain production pace and meet daily output goals.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe.
- Work collaboratively within a team-focused manufacturing environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in training programs and learn manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications
- No manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Comfortable performing hands-on work in a production setting.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse, retail, construction, landscaping, food production, or other labor-intensive roles is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent use of hands and arms during assembly activities.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bristol, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.80 - $20.90/hr.
