Responsibilities or job duties:

  • Troubleshoot/repair mechanical power train components (conveyors, bearings, gears, gearboxes, shafts)
  • Read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic symbols and prints
  • Read PLC ladder logic symbols and instructions Rebuild pumps and cylinders from supplied prints
  • Bend conduit and run basic electrical circuits according to prints provided
  • Perform monthly preventative maintenance on production/facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Use welding/cutting equipment (stick and/or MIG, oxy-acetylene, plasma cutter, grinders, etc.)
  • Rebuild pumps/cylinders from supplied prints
  • Use pipe threading equipment

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Allen Bradley Micrologix, SLC 500, and RSLogix 500 is highly desired.
  • Strongly preferred candidates have completed or are currently enrolled in: HAC 107 Electrical Controls and Circuitry and/or MFT 201 PLC Manufacturing Systems
  • Preferred candidates have successfully completed: MFT103 Industrial Robots & PLCs and/or IDM 210 Hydraulics & Pneumatics
  • ALL STAR Candidates: Have completed an Industrial Maintenance Apprenticeship
