Independent Tiling & Ceramics Subcontractor – GTA

Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Position Type: Independent Contractor / Project‑Based


Overview

We are seeking experienced and detail‑oriented Tiling & Ceramics Subcontractors to support ongoing multi‑residential renovation and unit turnover projects across the Greater Toronto Area.

This role is ideal for skilled installers specializing in tile and ceramic work, who can deliver high‑quality finishes in a fast‑paced renovation environment. All work is assigned using a pre‑approved pricing structureno quoting required—with consistent bi‑weekly payments.


Scope of Work

The subcontractor will be responsible for tile and ceramic installation scopes, including but not limited to:

  • Installation of floor and wall tile (ceramic, porcelain, etc.)
  • Bathroom tile work (tubs, showers, surrounds)
  • Kitchen backsplashes and feature walls
  • Surface preparation (leveling, membrane installation, waterproofing as required)
  • Grouting, sealing, and finishing work
  • Removal and replacement of damaged tiles
  • Minor substrate repairs related to tile installation
  • Reading layouts and executing clean, consistent patterns
  • Coordination with site supervisors and other trades
  • Maintaining clean, organized workspaces

Pricing & Payment Structure (Important)
