Job description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to build and prepare tile boards and displays for local showroom. Ideal candidates would have hands-on experience with tile installation, fabrication, and/or preparation, or similar experiences in product installation.


Job Duties:

  • Build and prepare tile boards and showroom displays according to company specifications and design requirements.
  • Accurately measure, cut, and prepare tile for showroom displays and other projects.
  • Safely and effectively operate both wet saws and dry saws.
  • Have hands-on experience working with various types of tile, including ceramic, porcelain, stone, and other tile materials.
  • Properly apply and work with grout and caulk, including understanding proper preparation, application, tooling, and cleanup.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Pay close attention to measurements, layout, alignment, spacing, color, and overall appearance.
  • Inspect completed tile boards and displays to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Work closely with showroom staff, designers, sales associates, management, and other team members.
  • Be willing to learn company-specific procedures and showroom standards.
  • Assist with moving, organizing, and preparing tile and display materials as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures when using tools, equipment, adhesives, grout, caulk, and other materials.
  • Complete work accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous tile-setting or tile-related experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of tile installation techniques and practices.
  • Experience using wet saws and dry saws safely and correctly.
  • Experience working with grout and caulk.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Ability to read and follow measurements, layouts, drawings, and instructions.
