Cape Cod, MA | 13-Week Travel Contract | Day Shift

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Echo Cardiographer Technician for a travel assignment with a respected healthcare system on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This opportunity offers competitive weekly compensation, a consistent day schedule, and the chance to work in a collaborative cardiovascular imaging department.

Position Details
  • Location: Cape Cod, MA
  • Start Date: September 28, 2026
  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks
  • Schedule: 5x8 Day Shifts
  • Rotating Start Times Between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM
  • 40 Hours Per Week
  • Some Weekend Coverage Required
  • May rotate between multiple imaging locations
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • Client Interview Required
Compensation
  • Travel Pay Package: Up to $2,821/Week
Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiography and cardiovascular ultrasound examinations
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic images to assist with patient evaluation and treatment
  • Monitor and document patient information accurately
  • Assist with cardiac diagnostic procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams
  • Maintain compliance with imaging and patient safety standards
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 Year of Echo or Cardiovascular Imaging Experience Preferred
  • Associate Degree or Related Cardiovascular Training Preferred
  • Current Applicable Registry and Certifications
  • BLS Certification, if required
  • Strong understanding of echocardiography procedures and cardiac anatomy
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills

Under general supervision, performs vascular and echocardiography ultrasound examinations for patients.  Participates in a variety of specialized technical evaluation procedures, including analyzing digitized electrocardiography (ECG) tapes, Holter monitoring, cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography, and generating quantitative arrhythmia reports. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or experience in a related field preferred and/or per state requirements
  • One (1) year of experience as a Cardiovascular technician preferred
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
