CAD Designer / Product Designer

Schedule: Monday–Friday

As a CAD Designer / Product Designer, you’ll collaborate with customers, sales, and production to create highquality, custom equipment, while helping improve future designs through innovation and expertise.

What You’ll Do
  • Design custom communications enclosures using 3D modeling software
  • Modify existing production designs to meet customer needs
  • Create bills of material, customer drawings, and manufacturing documentation
  • Support design testing and continuous improvement efforts
  • Develop innovative design solutions to improve quality and reduce cost
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, production, and customers

What We’re Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Equivalent education and handson experience considered

Experience & Skills

  • Proficient in 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Syteline a plus)
  • Sheet metal design experience required
  • Stamping dies, jigs, and fixtures experience preferred
  • 2+ years of industrial mechanical engineering experience

Professional Skills

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work professionally with internal teams and customers

Physical & Safety Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and use hands for detailed work
  • Must wear safety glasses and steeltoe boots
  • Safety procedures must be followed at all times
