Job description

Licensed Esthetician/Cosmetologist (Entry-Level)

Sugaring NYC – Dominion & Alamo Ranch:
We’re looking for a full-time Licensed Esthetician or Cosmetologist who is ready to learn and grow. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be able to perform basic waxing services. Paid sugaring training is provided.

Requirements:
  • Current Texas Esthetician or Cosmetology License.
  • Must be able to perform basic waxing services.
  • Willing to work at both Dominion and Alamo Ranch locations.
  • Must be willing to perform male and female Brazilian services.
  • Willing to sign a 1-year employment agreement.
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Fast learner and open to coaching.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.

Hours:
  • Full-time position.
  • Shifts range from 4–10 hours, depending on the location and business needs.
  • Schedule is based on the needs of the studio, so flexibility is required.
  • Training hours will vary and are not guaranteed.
  • After training, a more consistent schedule will be developed based on the needs of the studio.
  • Hours are not guaranteed and are earned based on performance, reliability, and the needs of the business. Top performers receive scheduling priority.
  • Our greatest need is for evening and weekend availability.

Pay:
  • Starting pay is $10/hour for those with no sugaring experience.
  • Raises are based on productivity and performance.
  • Most team members earn $20+/hour within their first 6 months, including base pay, tips, and commissions.
  • Top-performing team members average $37/hour, including base pay, tips, and commissions.
