Description

As an Entry Level Removable Technician focused on processing, you will support the processing and fabrication of removable dental appliances (dentures) according to doctors' prescriptions and BonaDent standards while meeting daily production requirements. You will learn and follow standard work for processing, operate lab equipment safely, and contribute to consistent quality outcomes across the removables workflow.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Review work tickets and prescriptions; confirm materials and case requirements prior to processing.
  • Perform processing steps under standard work, including investing/flasking, packing, curing, deflasking, and basic trimming.
  • Mix and handle acrylics and related materials per specifications; monitor cure times, temperatures, and equipment settings as trained.
  • Inspect work for common processing defects (porosity, voids, fractures, warpage, tooth movement) and take corrective action or escalate as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate case identification, labeling, documentation, and handoffs to downstream workstations.
  • Meet daily production expectations while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area; follow PPE, infection-control, and hazard-communication requirements.
  • Assist with repairs, relines, and other processing-related tasks as trained.
  • Communicate status, issues, and priorities to trainers, lead technicians, and management.
  • Be willing to perform other duties as necessary to meet departmental needs.

Hours: 

Second Shift 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm


Monday - Friday

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read and follow prescriptions, work tickets, and written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Reliability, consistent attendance, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet daily production requirements
  • Comfort using basic hand tools and learning to operate processing equipment safely.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and mixing materials.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks as required.
  • Dental laboratory experience or exposure to denture fabrication is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to travel for training as outlined below.
