Job description

Join a trusted, high-performing Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice in Port Huron & Chesterfield, Michigan!
Lakeview Oral Surgery is seeking a skilled, compassionate Oral Surgeon to provide exceptional patient care in a well-established, community-rooted practice with a strong referral network and an outstanding reputation throughout Michigan's Thumb region.

We welcome applicants from any U.S. region or Canada (U.S. licensure, or eligibility, is required) who are open to relocating to Michigan and becoming part of a legacy-driven, patient-focused practice.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

Established Legacy Practice:
Serving the Michigan Thumb for over 40 years, Lakeview Oral Surgery was founded in 1980 by Dr. Lawrence Beck. His legacy continues through Partner doctors Dr. Maurizio Mirabelli and Dr. Christopher Beck & Associate Dr. Ali Al-Sammak, providing continuity, stability, and deep community trust. The practice is known for long-standing referral relationships, high patient satisfaction, and consistent surgical volume.

Community-Focused Care:
Lakeview Oral Surgery is deeply respected for its commitment to veterans, elderly patients, and individuals with special needs. This mission-driven approach has made the practice a cornerstone of the Port Huron healthcare community.

Tenured, Family-Oriented Team:
Enjoy working alongside a highly experienced, loyal staff with a true family-like culture. Team members value collaboration, compassion, and supporting providers so they can focus on exceptional patient care.

Full-Scope Surgical Practice:
Steady and diverse case mix, including dentoalveolar surgery, implants, pathology, trauma, and comprehensive oral surgery services.

Growth & Long-Term Opportunity:
Opportunity for a stable, long-term role within a doctor-led practice that values mentorship, autonomy, and continuity of care.

Relocation Support:
Assistance with relocation and licensure available for oral surgeons joining our Port Huron practice.

What Port Huron Has to Offer

Beautiful Waterfront Living:
Located where Lake Huron meets the St. Clair River, Port Huron offers stunning water views, marina access, and miles of shoreline, ideal for kayaking, boating, fishing, and sunset walks along the Blue Water River Walk.

Affordable Cost of Living:
Enjoy the benefits of Michigan living with affordable housing, shorter commutes, and a relaxed pace of life compared to major metro areas.

Four-Season Climate:
Experience true Midwestern seasons - warm summers perfect for outdoor recreation, colorful fall foliage, snowy winters ideal for cozy living and winter sports, and refreshing springtime along the water.

Outdoor Recreation & Nature:
Nearby state parks, beaches, golf courses, and trails provide endless opportunities for recreation. Lakeport State Park, Fort Gratiot Lighthouse, and miles of waterways make outdoor living a daily perk.

Local Attractions & Culture:
Home to the iconic Blue Water Bridge, Port Huron offers local festivals, farmers markets, waterfront dining, museums, and a revitalized downtown with small-town charm and community pride.

Family-Friendly Community:
Strong schools, safe neighborhoods, and a close-knit community atmosphere make Port Huron an excellent place to raise a family or put down long-term roots.

Convenient Location:
Just over an hour from Detroit and minutes from the Canadian border (Sarnia, Ontario), providing easy access to major airports, international travel, professional sports, and cultural amenities, without the congestion of big-city life.
