Role Summary

Randstad USA is seeking experienced Blow Mold Machine Operators for direct hire opportunities in Woodridge, IL. We are looking for operators who can independently run blow molding equipment, complete changeovers, make process adjustments, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain quality.Qualifications

  • Previous blow molding machine experience required
  • Experience with extrusion blow molding strongly preferred
  • Machine setup and changeover experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues
  • strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience working with plastic resins such as HDPE, LDPE, PP, PET, PETG, or PVC preferred
  • Experience with Bekum, Uniloy, Graham, Fischer, Sterling, or similar equipment is a plus
  • Available for 2nd or 3rd shift

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate blow molding machines
  • Perform machine startups, shutdowns, and changeovers
  • Complete mold and tooling changes
  • Monitor and adjust temperatures, pressures, speeds, cooling, and cycle times
  • Troubleshoot machine and product quality issues
  • Identify defects and make appropriate process adjustments
  • Monitor material and resin flow
  • Perform minor mechanical adjustments and basic troubleshooting
  • Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
  • Document production, scrap, and downtime
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures
