Our Raleigh location is the jewel in our crown—our bustling flagship store. We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Jewelry Repair and Design Consultant to join our elite team and help our guests preserve their most cherished memories and bring new custom creations to life.

The Role: What You’ll Do

As a Repair and Design Consultant, you are the vital link between our guests and our master jewelers. You will guide guests through the lifecycle of their jewelry, from minor restorations to breathtaking custom designs.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Provide a warm, luxurylevel experience for every guest walking through our doors.
  • Intake and Evaluation: Carefully examine, evaluate, and describe jewelry in meticulous detail using specialized tools (loupes, testers, etc.).
  • Problem Solving and Estimating: Determine the exact services or repairs needed, create accurate cost and time estimates, and communicate them confidently to the guest.
  • Workflow Management: Oversee the intaketocompletion process, ensuring jobs are tracked accurately and deadlines are met.
  • Quality Control: Act as the final line of defense. Perform rigorous quality control checks on repaired or custom pieces to ensure they meet Bailey's flawless standards before returning to the guest.
  • What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: Entrylevel or higher jewelry experience (e.g., retail jewelry sales, basic bench knowledge, or formal gemological/jewelry coursework) is preferred
  • The Ultimate People Person: Exceptional communication skills and a genuine love for helping people.
  • An Eye for Detail: High organizational skills with the ability to spot microscopic imperfections and manage complex workflows.
