Job description

We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have an extensive service technician background with over 3 years of experience. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done, while overseeing lower level technicians and offering support.

Responsibilities 

  • Diagnose and perform advanced mechanical and electrical repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission diagnostics, and hybrid/EV systems. 
  • Utilize Ford IDS and other OEM diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Perform in-depth warranty repairs and ensure compliance with Ford service standards. 
  • Mentor and guide B-Level and entry-level technicians, assisting with their development and training. 
  • Execute advanced vehicle programming and software updates. 
  • Work closely with Service Advisors to provide accurate estimates and communicate repair needs. 
  • Maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy in all repair work. 

Qualifications  

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on automotive service technician experience.
  • Ford Certification highly preferred.
  • Expertise in engine, transmission, and electrical repairs.
  • Strong proficiency in Ford diagnostic tools (IDS, FDRS, or equivalent). 
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with a safe driving record.
