Where You Will Work:

3 East is a 20-bed Medical-Surgical floor that provides comprehensive care for adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, as well as post-operative recovery needs. This unit is designed to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment. This unit provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with diverse patient cases. Supportive leadership and ongoing education programs and the opportunity to be a part of a collaborative team culture focused on quality outcomes and patient safety.
Primary Patient Population:
Adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, respiratory illnesses, and cardiovascular disorders.
Post-operative patients recovering from general, orthopedic, or abdominal surgeries.
Patients requiring telemetry monitoring for cardiac observation and complex medication management.
Typical Nurse to patient ration is 5:1

We're Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Add additional preferred qualifications

What You'll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

About This Location:

This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible.

Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center is a nationally recognized academic medical center, nationally-verified Level 1 Trauma Center, Magnet hospital for nursing, and serves a service area of 30 counties and a population of nearly 750,000 persons. MCNH has over 4,500 employees and a medical staff of approximately 700 physicians.
