Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for supporting Nova Biomedical's warehouse operations and ensuring all materials are accurately received, processed, organized, and distributed according to company standards. This entry-level role supports daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and material handling while following established procedures and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and ship finished goods and raw materials accurately and safely while following established procedures.
  • Report discrepancies with products being picked or shipped.
  • Pick material issue tickets in support of all departments.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, including products from vendors, and inspect incoming shipments for damage.
  • Accurately count, receive, and process products within the SAP warehouse management system.
  • Receive and deliver production orders to the appropriate departments and notify planning personnel of any discrepancies.
  • Process interplant transfers.
  • Consolidate inventory to maximize warehouse space utilization.
  • Perform cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials as directed.
  • Maintain daily housekeeping of receiving docks, staging areas, and warehouse facilities to ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 01+ year of warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience.
  • Experience with pick, pack, ship, receiving, and replenishment activities preferred.
  • Experience using handheld scanner equipment preferred.
  • Experience using SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
  • Capacity to lift and carry up to [2550] pounds as required.
  • Comfort with performing repetitive physical tasks.
